Facebook, the most popular social network, constantly comes up with new features brought to its users worldwide. Lately Facebook presented the Facebook Offers feature, most specifically it was functioning and documented on the 29th of February, 2012. Now what is special about this newbie?

The main concept is that everyone would benefit Facebook Offers. How did they make that happen? Clients or people who want some products or services want to have a wise choice. A lot of companies eventually offer what you need but they all come with similar prices. So then which company wins? The one smart enough to throw an offer to attract old and new customers as well, as this is like helping each other: the company gets to sell and buy, to have their products in a good commercial cycle and clients will also be happy to get what they wanted at a lower price.

How does the Facebook Offers feature work?

First of all it will only appear on Facebook pages of businesses/companies. This doesn’t imply that every company must have such an offer listed. Every offer is built up in a simplistic way: the title (text) of the offer, an expiry date, and conditions or limitations to that offer (if applicable). Then, as a client, all you need to do is click on the Get Offer link which results in an email sent to your Facebook account’s email address. If for some reason you didn’t get the email you will have a Resend Offer option. Lastly to benefit the offer, all you need to do is to show your email to the specific employees within the company handling such tasks.

Let’s now check a real example! If you go to https://www.facebook.com/OliveGarden/posts/10150638623501805 which is the offer provided by the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, you will see an offer that can still be claimed (since it’s not yet expired).
